Process

  1. Brand Identity – Developed a soft vintage-inspired color palette, playful typography, and a hand-drawn logo style.

  2. Moodboard & Storytelling – Built a moodboard combining vintage stationery, snail mail inspiration, and cozy textures.

  3. Instagram Launch Countdown – Designed a 7-day countdown campaign featuring product teasers, behind-the-scenes clips, and brand introduction posts.

  4. Product Photography & Mockups – Styled photoshoots of handmade products (stickers, postcards, zines) to showcase texture and craft details.

  5. Bilingual Captions (EN/中文) – Crafted engaging, friendly captions in both languages to connect with a wider audience.

To create a consistent and memorable identity for Perfect Traces, a handmade art brand specialising in stickers, postcards, zines, and keychains. The objective was to design a visual strategy for the launch that reflects warmth, nostalgia, and a handmade aesthetic.

To establish Tsuki Ink as a unique tattoo brand with a dreamy, luna-inspired idetity. The focus was on creating engaging Instagram content that reflects both artistry and personal storytelling while gradually attracting tattoo clients.

Tsuki Ink - Building a Tattoo identity on Instagram

Brand Concept & Identity – Developed the name Tsuki (月, “moon” in Japanese), symbolizing intuition, cycles, and mystery. Designed a visual style mixing minimal blackwork with celestial and floral elements.

  1. Flash Design Showcase – Created tattoo flash sheets inspired by everyday thoughts, animals, flowers, and cosmic imagery. Shared these as posts and stories to display originality.

  2. Content Strategy

    • Posted process clips (sketch → stencil → tattoo).

    • Shared behind-the-scenes of practice work and tattoo equipment.

    • Wrote personal captions about inspiration (moonlight, nature, dreams).

  3. Community Building – Only accepted friends/referrals, but kept an approachable and warm tone to build trust and anticipation for public bookings.

  4. Visual Direction – Consistent use of vintage tones, nature, and tattoo motifs to strengthen aesthetic recognition.

Result
