Hello I am Melissa Tsu.

Hi, I’m Melissa, a visual designer and artist based in Toronto.
I work across illustration, visual storytelling, and handmade product design, blending emotional depth with thoughtful visual structure.

My creative practice grew from long-standing interests in everyday visuals, printed matter, and object-based storytelling. Over the years, I’ve developed work that balances aesthetic sensitivity, conceptual clarity, and real-world application — from product designs and printed series to personal creative projects under Perfect Wednesday and Perfect Traces.

I work best in environments that value clarity, consistency, and sustainable creative rhythm. I’m particularly interested in roles that allow me to support visual communication, creative branding, gallery / art space operations, or collaborative design projects while still having space to continue my independent creative practice.

More about me

Alongside my professional work, I maintain my own creative practice through Perfect Wednesday and Perfect Traces, where I explore handmade and printed works with a focus on meaningful marks and everyday interaction.

I’m currently open to full-time roles in visual design, creative operations, gallery coordination / management, or brand visual content — and I’m always happy to talk about collaboration, exhibitions, and creative partnerships.

Introducing you my Art assistants, my cats.

They are always on my working table, or even on my laptop which makes them the world’s worst assistants… But, I love them regardless!
